Large Otomí Runner (3 colors)

These runners are works of art created by Galilea and her mom, both Otomi artisans. Galilea learned this work from her grandmother and it has been passed down for generations. First, she freehand draws the design on the linen. Next they carefully embroider every section. If they did this nonstop it would take 20 to 30 days to complete but Galilea has her own small business and a son so it takes about two to three months to complete one runner. This truly is an heirloom piece. 

They each measure 2 meters (right about 6ft 1 1/2”). They can be ironed and hand washed.
